Public-Sector Salary Increases Take Effect Across Mongolia

Salary increases took effect on 1 November for teachers, healthcare workers and approximately 52,000 other public employees. Mongolia allocated around MNT170 billion for the increase for other public servants, while experienced teachers’ monthly salaries now reach MNT4,589,922 in soum schools. The changes create demand for payroll administration, HR consulting, workforce planning and employee-management services.
